In my opinion, one of the main responsibilities of our organization is to make the farmer a prosperous person. To achieve this objective, the farming community should be encouraged not only to produce food to meet local demand but also to secure a place in the global market.

අප සංවිධානයේ එක් ප්‍රධාන වගකීමක් වන්නේ ගොවියා සෞභාග්‍යමත් පුද්ගලයකු බවට පත්කිරීම බව මගේ අදහසයි. මෙම පරමාර්ථය සාක්ෂාත් කර ගැනීම සඳහා දේශීය ඉල්ලුමට සරිලන පරිදි ආහාර නිෂ්පාදනය කිරීමට පමණක් නොව ගෝලීය වෙළෙඳපොළේ ස්ථානයක් සුරක්ෂිත කිරීමට ද ගොවි ප්‍රජාව දිරිමත් කළ යුතුය.
